What is Reaming?
Reaming of a pipe interior removes obstructions such as roots, sand, grease, and more. It involves adding an attachment, for example a chain, to a specific nozzle on a flusher truck to smash or chop obstructions in the pipe interior.
Reaming can be monitored by CCTV cameras and does not cause damage to the pipe. It is an effective, trenchless method to clean debris from a pipeline.
What is Cutting?
Cutting the interior of a pipe removes any imperfections, which includes roots that have infiltrated the system, hardened calcite, and intruding laterals, using a small cutting tool powered by compressed air.
At Wessuc, our cutters are designed not to cause any damage to pipes or other infrastructure. They are quick and precise, removing pipe obstructions to immediately restore pipe flow.
