Continuously improving by leveraging technological advancements to meet the needs of customers while balancing environmental and safety priorities, Wessuc now provides hydro-vac and coring services
NEWS RELEASE – February 21, 2018 – Wessuc is pleased to announce the expansion of services and capabilities by offering coring and hydro-vac services to new and existing customers. The introduction of these services is just another step in-line with Wessuc’s mission, to leverage technological advancements to make an environmentally safer place to live, work, and play.
Coring services are ideal when access to underground utilities and/or localized excavation are required, but open excavation is not possible. Hydro-vac services are employed to break up and remove soil when traditional digging is unfeasible.
Wessuc’s coring services are enabled by the cutting edge technology of the new Trailicor Rover by Utilicor Technologies. The Trailicor Rover is the first towable, self-propelled coring unit that can accurately core up to 24-inch diameter cores in minutes. The Trailicor Rover technologically advanced features and benefits include:
- Smooth and precise, commercial grade, hydrostatic drive propulsion system
- Easily maneuvered into tight and restricted work sites
- Equipped with the industry standard, field proven, robust Utilicor hydraulic coring system
- Four hydraulic powered stabilizer for a rock solid coring platform
- Premium maneuverability
- Integrated water tanks
- Rugged, front-facing camera with waterproof viewing screen that provides driver with a full 120° angled view of everything in front of the vehicle
“Infrastructure maintenance is a key aspect of environmental protection. Our coring equipment enables Wessuc to service our clients in a cost-effective and expedient manner. Underground utilities can be accessed for visual inspection, maintenance, and repair. This can all be done with minimal site disruption.” said Hank VanVeen, Vice President of Wessuc. “We are continuously seeking new ways to provide services and guidance to support the industry including our blogs and case studies where we feature topics like dewatering, sludge removal, biosolids, agricultural nutrient management and more.”
